Classic Game:
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Released in 2000, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is our first entry to our Classic Friday list. Majora's Mask was not only a hit for Zelda fans because of the new-found 3D graphics for Nintendo's new console N64, but it was also a new take for the Zelda series and bringing a much more 'darker' feeling to it.
The game is set in Termina, in which is a land parrallel of Hyrule. The story can be somewhat confusing if you're following along the Legend of Zelda timeline (we reccommend checking out the Hyrule Historia book to get the full scope of things). But Majora's Mask is set months after the events of Ocarina of Time as Link searches for his former fairy, Navi. It isn't until the masked Skull Kid comes along and brings Link into new and unfamiliar territory.
What makes this game so interesting is that the concept of the story takes place in 3 days, in which you have only 3 days to stop the Skull Kid from bringing the apocalypse to Termina. Within these three days you will get to harness the power of different masks that comes with different forms of Link and their own unique powers. Together with the help of your new allies you must save Termina! If you don't like playing a retro copy of the game, you're in luck since the remastered version updated with new 3D graphics, new puzzles, and an easier navigation tool for the Nintendo 3DS. We highly reccommend going back and trying it out if you ever get the chance.
